Behind the Scenes: Custom Column Shipping

Columns range in sizes and shapes. Typically, they are large and require to be shipped via a common carrier truck.

Our warehouse and shipping teams often build custom boxes for our larger, non-traditional column orders. Each box was carefully designed by our head warehouse member and tested for the best durability and strength. As previously stated in past posts, our warehouse team is dedicated to shipping out the best products in the safest manner.

We have several different warehouses all over the country that are stocked with products available for purchase. Rows upon rows of shelves line the warehouses with products that will eventually be shipped to another valued customer.

Pictured below is an aisle that is dedicated solely to moulding products. There are shelves that just stock the baseboard options to the very front of the picture. Because of the various lengths offered for moulding products, our warehouse team cuts the products themselves and boxes them to be shipped off.

There are warehouses in Ohio, Georgia, Indiana, Oregon, Texas and California, just to name a few. Each warehouse is staffed with dedicated, knowledgeable team members that strive for excellence. Behind the Scenes: Shipping

Understandably, shipping is not a very fascinating subject, but how do you think the products you order get to you? Are you not just a little bit curious as to what goes on at the warehouse? Or, how the item you purchased is handled before it arrives?

Maybe your curiosity has peaked. That is perfect!

Imagine that you order 27 medium to large  and a couple extra large ceiling medallions. Maybe they are all gifts or maybe they are just for your home; it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you, the customer purchased the items and they are supposed to be packed, shipped and be delivered in a timely, cost-efficient manner. Isn’t that right?

Good news for you the highly valued customer: our warehouse team values each shipment as much as you do yours. They are dedicated to finding solutions to make shipping secure while being cost efficient for the customer. For example, those hypothetical 27 ceiling medallions you recently purchased are on a pallet as opposed to being shipped individually. The best benefit of shipping it that way is that the medallions would be delivered all at once. The next obvious benefit was that it would be cost effective to ship one pallet as opposed to 27 different boxes.

Next time you order a product, you can be confident that our team will ship your products with care and efficiency. It does not matter if you order one small rosette or 27 ceiling medallions, the product is important to us because it is so important to you!
