Behind the Scenes: The Warehouse Pt. Two

Have you ever wondered what the inside one of our many warehouses look like? Well check it out!

We have several different warehouses all over the country that are stocked with products available for purchase. Rows upon rows of shelves line the warehouses with products that will eventually be shipped to another valued customer.

Pictured below is an aisle that is dedicated solely to moulding products. There are shelves that just stock the baseboard options to the very front of the picture. Because of the various lengths offered for moulding products, our warehouse team cuts the products themselves and boxes them to be shipped off.

There are warehouses in Ohio, Georgia, Indiana, Oregon, Texas and California, just to name a few. Each warehouse is staffed with dedicated, knowledgeable team members that strive for excellence. From quality control inspections to cleaning up workstations at the end of the day, the warehouse teams get the job done with pride.

Behind the Scenes: Large Custom Wood Brackets

Each and every product featured on ArchitecturalDepot.com has a unique back-story of how it was manufactured and came to be on our site. Sometimes, these products are for out-of-the-ordinary jobs and require very specific measurements that cannot be found in the local hardware store. At ArchitecturalDepot.com, we are the solution to your problems by allowing our customers to give us their custom dimensions for their specific needs.

The Rustic wood collection in particular requires the customer to let our sales representatives exactly what they would like in the product. Our Rustic wood millwork utilizes the technologies of today to build the ‘log and timber’ wood products. Additionally, each product in the Rustic collection is 100% unique and custom made for each customer. The wood species depends on the customer. The finish of the product depends on the customer. The sizes depend on the customer. These products are made for the customer, so we make sure that our team pays attention to all the small details.

Our products are not kiln dried, each item in our Rustic Collection is 100% unique and will contain the natural variations that the wood species offers. Your wood bracket, corbel, rafter tail, will contain unique colors, grains, textures, knots, sapwood & heartwood content and possible sap bleeding, and even natural checking, splitting & cracks. These natural variations are what make the Rustic Collection stand out from the rest.

Ekena Millwork Western Red Cedar Olympic Traditional Brackets

Brackets make such bold statements wherever the customer installs them. Typical places to install brackets are, but not limited to, the kitchen, living room, and various types of entry ways.

Sent from Farmingdale, New York, Brian emailed us his beautiful project picture. He purchased two Ekena Millwork Olympic traditional brackets. Out of all the wood species to choose from, he chose the Western Red Cedar in smooth finish. After applying a coat of wood stain, Brian installed the brackets at his front door. It looks great how they frame the doorway!

The Olympic traditional brackets are just one of many wood brackets in the Rustic Collection. Our Rustic wood millwork utilizes the technologies of today to build the ‘log and timber’ wood products that have been in architecture for centuries. Because our products are not kiln dried, each item in our Rustic Collection is 100% unique and will contain the natural variations that the wood species offers. Your wood bracket will contain unique colors, grains, textures, knots, sapwood & heartwood content and possible sap bleeding, and even natural checking, splitting & cracks.
