Brackets make such bold statements wherever the customer installs them. Typical places to install brackets are, but not limited to, the kitchen, living room, and various types of entry ways.
Sent from Farmingdale, New York, Brian emailed us his beautiful project picture. He purchased two Ekena Millwork Olympic traditional brackets. Out of all the wood species to choose from, he chose the Western Red Cedar in smooth finish. After applying a coat of wood stain, Brian installed the brackets at his front door. It looks great how they frame the doorway!
The Olympic traditional brackets are just one of many wood brackets in the Rustic Collection. Our Rustic wood millwork utilizes the technologies of today to build the ‘log and timber’ wood products that have been in architecture for centuries. Because our products are not kiln dried, each item in our Rustic Collection is 100% unique and will contain the natural variations that the wood species offers. Your wood bracket will contain unique colors, grains, textures, knots, sapwood & heartwood content and possible sap bleeding, and even natural checking, splitting & cracks. These natural variations are what make the Rustic Collection stand out from the rest.

Architecturally speaking, it is often rare to have a one size fits all kind of product. The industry is simply not created that way. Here at ArchitecturalDepot.com we understand that and make every effort to better equip our customers with custom sizes and finishes.
Brackets come in all shapes and sizes. Really, there are different shaped brackets available out there! One of the best examples of this reality is the Ekena Millwork hidden support steel brackets.
Pictured below are several Ekena Millwork Logan hidden support steel brackets. Why are they hanging like that you might ask? Well, they recently had a white finish applied to them. Each one of those hidden brackets were individually finished and inspected for quality control.
The hidden brackets are such versatile products; they can be used as a knee/ pony wall support or an island countertop support. It is perfectly concealed by the countertop and appears to be floating. Essentially, it will protect your countertop (or whatever use you purchased it for) from cracking when leaned upon. Plus, being made out of steel, there is a durability factor that you can trust.
